The world's largest themed cascade fountain – "Steel Heart of the Motherland", Magnitogorsk
Its opening took place as part of the celebration of the Metallurgist's Day on July 19, 2024.
Russian President Vladimir Putin took part in the event via live teleconference.
The fountain "Steel Heart of the Motherland" is a complex engineering system with an area of 3.5 thousand square meters. meters, capable of creating impressive visual effects. In the upper bowl of the fountain around the installation "Ore" there are 10 nozzles that simulate the heat of a blast furnace that melts ore.
The fountain includes more than 1000 water jets, which gives it a special uniqueness. In addition, more than 5,400 underwater LED lights located in the fountain come to life to the rhythms of music.
The fountain has unique art objects:
• - the heart of the fountain is the installation "Ore" - a stylized structure made of "eternal" Korten steel;
• - metal cubes imitating the crystal molecular lattice of metal;
• - acoustic vandal-proof light poles "Time" are unique art objects. Decorative lighting of the pillars creates an additional light contour during the fountain's show program.
A unique fountain project was implemented on the territory of the Attraction Park in Magnitogorsk. Its main idea is to show the process of converting iron ore into steel at the enterprises of Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works.
